Making health spaces better for you
ECHO are currently working with children and young people to make sure health spaces like pharmacies, clinics and GP surgeries are easier to access, so you feel confident you can get the information and support you need, when you need it, in the way that you need it.
To do this, we are creating an assessment tool with children and young people, for our Young Assessors to use when they assess health spaces. The assessment process will give health spaces important information and feedback that will help them provide better support for children and young people using them. That’s why it is so important that we ask for children and young people’s views and ideas as we create this assessment tool, and it is just one of the ways that ECHO are supporting children and young people to have a say about what matters to them.
We’ll be sharing volunteering opportunities for children and young people over 14 years old soon, and you can let us know if you are interested in finding out more about volunteering as a Young Assessor by contacting us.
