School immunisations systems project

Have your say

What is this project about?

There has been a noticeable decline in the uptake of school aged vaccinations in Tower Hamlets over the past 5 years. These immunisations are an important step in protecting children, young people and families against many preventable illnesses, such as meningitis and polio. This is why ECHO are working with Vaccination UK and Public Health Tower Hamlets to listen to the community about what the barriers are to taking part in school immunisations. The project includes learning about any anxieties and fears, what and how information is communicated, and what can be done to make the process better for the community.
